I’m thrilled to share that one of my images has just been commended at the 2025 World Food Photography Awards – a global recognition I’m proud to add to the journey.
The photo, taken on assignment in Southeast Asia, captures a quiet yet powerful moment of food preparation in a rural kitchen. It’s about more than just ingredients, it’s about labour, ritual, and the invisible hands that feed us.

📸✨ Shortlisted! ✨📸
Chuffed to share that I’ve been shortlisted for the 2025 World Food Photography Awards.
Food photography has always been about more than just what’s on the plate. It’s about story, place, memory, and in my case, sometimes a last minute dash for natural light.
To be recognised among so many talented image makers around the world is both humbling and energising.
Massive thanks to the judges and the team behind the awards, and congrats to all the other shortlisted artists — it’s an honour to be in such delicious company.
